Obituary for Mr. Bobby Clay Hendrix

Mr. Bobby Clay Hendrix, age 77, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Wellstar Tranquility at Kennesaw Mountain (Marietta, Georgia).

Mr. Hendrix was born in Roswell, Georgia on April 21, 1941 to Furman Hendrix and Nora Parralee (Smith) Hendrix. Prior to his passing, he worked as a long haul truck driver for Arkansas Best Freight. He was preceded in death by his son, Joey Bone; his parents, Furman (Nora Parralee Smith) Hendrix and his brothers and sisters.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Hendrix; his daughter, Kay (Tony) Pope; his grandson, Jareb Pope; his sister-in-law, Susie Cantrell; his niece, Vickie (Skip) Eckland; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Hendrix will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 3:00PM at Benson Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Voyles officiating. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 12:00PM - 3:00PM at Benson Funeral Home.
